Lake museum visitors are offered a presentation about the history of Centre for Limnology and also overview of Lake Võrtsjärv present-day’s situation. In addition it is possible to see the movie “Võrtsjärv” made by Rein Maran or “The saga of Lake” by Kalle Mälberg.

In aquarium hall  you can see Estonia’s freshwater fishes – among them some are quite rare and protected species. It is possible to see the representation of largest fish that has been caught in Lake Võrtsjärv in one of the aquariums.

Certainly it will be interesting to watch pond inhabitants through the magnifying glass and our forefather’s – Valma’s Stone Age man brings some history fragrance.
